Certificate distribution ceremony of NH&MP officials as First Responder Course at Islamabad
Motorway Police should adopt all technical measures to control the accidents. Motorway Police give Priority to safety and security to the commuters during journey on road. He said that Motorway Police is a corruption free and pride national institution of the country. He said in case of accident motorway Police is the first responder, therefore the start of this course is a positive step toward betterment. He was speaking on the occasion at the certificate distribution ceremony of NH&MP officials as First Responder Course at Islamabad.
As per details, The Secretary Communications has stressed upon motorway police to adopt all technical measures to control accidents and to give priority to the safety and security of commuters while travelling. He said that in every accident or incident, Motorway Police is the First Responder, therefore, they should be professionally trained in the provision of first aid. He was addressing in a ceremony for certificate distribution to the participants of 2nd First Aid Responder Course. He said this course should be extended to the public and educational institutions so that they also be aware of First Aid help. In this regard he promised for all kind of cooperation to NH&MP by the Ministry of Communications. Secretary Communications lauded the performance of NH&MP and claimed that Motorway Police is a Corruption free and a pride national institution.
In the start of the ceremony Fatiha was offered for APO Muhammad Israr khan who martyred last day in a road accident in Islamabad city.
During his welcome address Inspector General NH&MP Muhammad Saleem Bhatti expressed the purpose of this course and said that safety and security of commuters have always been top priority of NH&MP which is improving with the time. He said it is his duty to give better driving training to the Pakistani nation. For this purpose the NH&MP has established 50 Road Safety Training institute in the country, which would be increased upto 70 till the end of May, 2015. Besides for the better training to the drivers, NH&MP is struggling to arrange drivers training through NEVTAC, Punjab Skill Development Program and Overseas Pakistani Foundation, which will not only helpful to reduce the accidents but also provide opportunities for better jobs in the country and abroad . He further said that for the issuance of standardized driving licenses to the public, NH&MP is establishing two more Driving Licensing Authorities in Lahore and Peshawar.
