On the directions of Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police Shaukat Hayat Khan, a Complaint Cell has been established in the National Highways & Motorway Police Headquarters, Islamabad to resolve the complaints of general public in a shortest possible time. While submitting the complaints, NH&MP requests the general public to write clearly

Complaints Process Mechanism
On receiving the complaint by any mean (bypost, by person, through phone, e-mail, fax), the same is being sent to the concerned Zonal Commander, an officer of (BS-20), for inquiry and detailed report. Both the parties (complainant and against whom the complaint has been made) are being given full opportunity. Their statements are being recorded.
An average 10 days time is being given to finalize the complaint.
On obtaining the inquiry/detailed report from the concerned Zonal Commander, the complainant is once again contacted by the Incharge Complaint Cell and inquired about his satisfaction and proceedings of inquiry.
Accordingly, the views/comments of the complainant along with complete case comprising the views/comments of the complainant, is being put up to the Inspector General of Police, NH &MP for final decision.
On the final decision by the Inspector General of Police, NH &MP, the complainant is once again informed about the outcome of his complaint.
In case the complainant is not satisfied with the proceedings of first inquiry, the matter is revisited and re-inquiry of the matter is conducted through another officer of senior rank.
