Lane discipline must be ensured to minimize accidents – IG, NH&MP

The lane discipline must be ensured to minimize accidents and security of commuters must be our first priority at all times. Road safety and traffic discipline are essential part of a human life.  Inspector General, National Highways & Motorway Police Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam has delivered these words while addressing the Motorway Police officers at Murree Express Way.  The SP  Murree Express Way Zahida Bukhari, DSP/CPO Rizwan Abbasi  and other Senior officers were also present this occasion.  Dr. Syed said that  no compromise will be made in providing safe and secure travelling environment and extending timely and effective help to the road users travelling on national highways and motorways. He advised the officers that while performing their duty, they must ensure timely help to the road users and they should consider it as a sacred job. He further said that NH&MP always priorities road safety awareness among masses.  The IG NH&MP Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam has said Motorway Police is fighting and making vigorous efforts to reduce accident rate to lowest level by maintaining better discipline on roads through briefing, education and constructive enforcement.  He said that he is trying his best to work day and night for the welfare of the force.  At the end of address Inspector General Dr. Syed  Kaleem Imam heard the problems of officers and directed for suitable solutions on priority basis.
