Motorway Police has Organized all Pakistan Law Enforcing Agencies T-20 Shuhada Cricket Tournament at National Level

National Highways and Motorway Police has organized all Pakistan Law enforcing agencies T-20 Shuhada cricket tournament for the first time at national level in Islamabad. A special ceremony was organized at marghazr cricket ground said pur village road Islamabad. Minister of State for communications Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry was the chief Guest of the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by IG, NH&MP, Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, DIGs, SSPs, Zonal Commanders, Sector Commanders of NH&MP, Bureaucrats, Shuhada’s families, civil society members, Media persons, Pakistan cricket team bowler Yasir Shah, batsman Muhammad waseem, other senior officers of Motorway Police and distinguished guests. All over Pakistan 11 cricket teams, Punjab Police, Sindh Police, Balochistan Police, Islamabad Police, Pakistan Railways Police, Azad Jamu Kashmir Police, FIA, FWO, and two teams from National Highways and Motorway Police are participating in this tournament.
On this occasion State Minister for Communications Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry said that the National Highways and Motorway police did very good job to organize all Pakistan Law enforcing agencies T-20 Shuhada cricket tournament. He saluted the martyred of all law enforcing agencies and their brave families and said their sacrifices shall not go to waste. He said that the death of martyr is the life of the nation. National Highways and Motorway Police is the best institution of Pakistan after the Army of Pakistan. He further said that games play an important role to maintain physical fitness for any force. The games teach us time restrictions and developed discipline, mutual understanding and trust. The players are peace ambassadors. IG, NH&MP Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam said that 7000 officials of law enforcing agencies accepted martyrdom in Pakistan. Motorway police 34 officers accepted martyrdom in which 3 while crime fighting. At every difficult time police scarifies their lives for the public safety and for the nation. The country as well as the NHMP is proud of them, Souvenirs were also distributed among the heirs of the martyrs. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam presented a shield to Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry Minister of state for communications. After winning the toss the AJK cricket team scored 129 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs against NH&MP (White) in the first T20 match in Islamabad on Thursday. While the NH&MP (white) won the match with seven wickets in 14.5 overs. SPO Iqbal Butt scored 51 and received man of the match award.
